Goodridge also pulls from an extensive knowledge of Black history to seamlessly interweave lesser-known Black figures into the story landscapes, adding further depth to each spine-tingling tale. JAMES GOODRIDGE was born and raised in the Bronx and now resides in the Yorkville section of Manhattan. He began writing speculative fiction in 2009. After ten years as a visual artist representative and paralegal, James decided in 2013 to make a better commitment to writing. James has since written a collection of Twilight Zone-themed stories entitled The Artwork (I to V). He’s also contributed to numerous anthologies including two volumes of Scierogenous : An Anthology of Erotic Science Fiction and Fantasy (2017, 2018), Sweet, Sexy and Special Dark: Blerdrotica Book 1 (2020), and Funny as a Heart Attack (2021). Goodridge is a member of the Black Science Fiction Society and oversees the popular Facebook group, Who Gives You the Write.
